Privacy policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
The short version
- Sorveru collects nothing. There is no Sorveru server, no account, and no tracking.
- Your WhatsApp data is saved only on your computer.
- The helper is not a local AI. When you ask it something, what it reads is sent to Anthropic (Claude) under your own Claude account.
What stays on your computer
Your synced messages, chats, groups and group members, the helper's memory file, and any spreadsheets you export are stored in Sorveru's data folder on your computer. Sorveru does not upload them anywhere. Delete the app and its data folder to remove them.
How Sorveru talks to WhatsApp
Sorveru links to your WhatsApp as a linked device, the same way WhatsApp Web does, and connects straight from your computer to WhatsApp's servers. You can unlink it any time on your phone: WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices.
What goes to Claude
The helper runs through Claude Code, Anthropic's app, signed in with your own Claude account. When you ask a question, the messages and group details the helper reads to answer you are sent to Anthropic under your account, and Anthropic's privacy policy applies. Phone numbers are hidden from the helper unless you turn them on in Settings. If you don't use the helper, nothing is sent to any AI. Sorveru never sees or stores your Claude password or sign-in tokens.
This website
sorveru.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. It and the download files are hosted on Cloudflare, which handles standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and protect against attacks.
Other people's messages
Messages and member lists in your groups belong to other people too. Please only use and share them in ways they would expect.
Not affiliated with WhatsApp
Sorveru is an independent app. It is not made by, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp or Meta.
